Ms. Masud-Paul is a registered dietitian-nutritionist. She has experience in nutrition assessment, education, and counseling and promotes wellness through good nutrition and exercise. She currently provides research support and instruction in data and information literacy for the College of Nursing and Health Professions, Food Science and Culinary Arts programs at Drexel. Prior to her work at Drexel she served for more than 20 years as an information specialist and technology director in academic, county and corporate environments.
Ms. Masud-Paul earned a Master’s in Public Health and Masters of Information Science from Drexel University and a BS in the Coordinated Dietetics program at Rutgers University.
She is passionate about providing and simplifying access to information because of its capacity to facilitate research, improve health and change lives. She is particularly interested in addressing healthcare disparities among the poor and underinsured. As an RDN and librarian she utilizes her knowledge of public health, nutrition, information resources and technology to improve access to data for health practitioners, patients and the community.
She is currently active in several professional organizations including the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Public Health Association and the Medical Library Association. Ms. Masud-Paul is a native of Philadelphia PA, and resides in Cherry Hill, NJ.
She enjoys traveling and loves learning about cultures through their foodways.
